What to Expect

After making an in-depth assessment of your condition, very fine, single-use, sterile needles are inserted through the skin at specific points on the body. Sensations vary from person to person, some reporting a tiny pinch while others feel virtually nothing at all.
Repeat treatments may or may not be necessary and depend on the response of the individual.  Typically, a course of 5 to 10 treatments administered once weekly can achieve the energy balance necessary to feel the benefits.  Some conditions need only 1 or 2 sessions.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient medical treatment; its Chinese roots date back to 300 or 400 A.D. Cupping is still regularly used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in Chinese hospitals and elsewhere. Suction cups of varying sizes are attached to the body, and the suction draws blood to the surface of the skin.

Gau sha

Gau sha meaning "scraping sha-bruises", is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. Practitioners believe gua sha releases unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing.
